The Port Macquarie Museum is now one of 19 businesses in Port Macquarie recognised as actively working towards becoming a dementia-friendly organisation.
The Museum has completed a dementia friendly action plan, is progressively making improvements to its facilities and signage, and has implemented a dementia awareness program for staff.
