Port Macquarie Museum together with six other museums from Museums Australia - Mid North Coast Chapter has won a 2016 Museums and Galleries National Award (MAGNA) for the innovative online exhibition Our Rivers Our History. The project was in collaboration with Camden Haven, Kempsey, Mid North Coast Maritime, Tinonee, Wauchope and Wingham Museums.
